We Know How to Bake Our Own Cupcakes!

In one of the lessons in February, our K1 children learnt how to bake cupcakes by themselves. There were preparation stations and in each station, children were given pictorial instructions on how to go about making the cupcake. With this, children were able to make their cupcakes independently, without much assistance from the teacher.

Syarmayne and Yoke Xuen were the first two to make their own cupcakes.
They were excellent bakers! :D


When they were done, they placed their cupcakes on the cupcake tray.


Next up, Joshua and Jia Xuan!
They added the different ingredients and stirred the mixture carefully.

Joshua was done! :)

Amelia was attempting to add a spoonful of egg into her bowl.

Cedric was very diligent and task-oriented. He did not utter a single word when he did this activity. :)

it was Qiu Ling's turn! She added a two spoonfuls of butter as instructed.

Hong Ze was at the last preparation station, scooping up some flour.

Zhi Cheng was making sure he did not make any mistakes.

"Milk... one spoon..." he muttered to himself as he was doing the activity. :)

Elgin's turn now! Elgin can be a great baker! He did not even ask for any help while doing this activity. He could stir his mixture well.

Rui Xiang and Harini were discussing together as they added the ingredients into their bowls.

Xi Wei took his time to do this activity. Yeah. Slow and steady wins the race right? :)

After adding the sugar, time for the butter!

It was Fynn's and Jayden's turn now! They were concentrating so hard to make the best, delicious cupcakes!

The children were so eager to see how their cupcakes look like.
They kept asking the teacher about the cupcakes.
After high tea, the children had fun eating their cupcakes!
